From Solar Production to Stored Energy
During a period of solar generation, a home may use part of the available energy immediately. At another time, stored energy can support planned loads when solar production is reduced.
That description is intentionally simple. Actual charging and discharge behavior depends on the inverter, battery, control settings, grid rules, temperature conditions, load profile and the final system design. Installers should rely on approved product documentation for a specific configuration.
